June - Backpack Drive
You can help make a difference for a struggling child by providing a backpack packed full of basic school supplies (packed for elementary or middle/high school students). Please deliver backpacks to the Mission by the second Sunday in July.
July - Vacation Bible School
Please consider rounding up your youth group or a group of adults and volunteering one out of the three days of Mission VBS. Your group could lead games, bring a craft, or help with story time. Backpacks will be distributed to all children participating in VBS.
October - Harvest Fest
Join us as we celebrate Fall with fun Fall activities and treats. Would your church like to provide small pumpkins for decorating, face painters, or treats?
November - Annual Pastor’s Cake Auction/Spaghetti Dinner
Supporting a ministry has never been so much fun! Join us for our District Pastor’s Cake Auction each November! Pastors, bake those cakes! Come out and bid on your Pastor’s Cake! Enjoy a meal with your fellow Methodists. Consider taking up a collection this month if your church is unable to participate.
December - Walmart Gift Cards
What a wonderful time of year to share the love of Christ with the families of City Heights by leading your church in a collection of gifts cards in any amount to Walmart. The cards will be used to purchase gifts for our families and meet other needs within the ministry.
